And that's just the issue; we still pay totally unjustified rewards (I won't say wages) to these allegedly 'top people'. Retail is in fact a classic example 'Sir' Philip Green for instance? Greed closed his shops. The classic response to this is that we have to pay such rates or they'd clear off to the States. I suggest we now wish that rather too many of them had done just that. Fred Goodwin and his ilk. They've turned operational management into tick box lists and not very bright tick boxes at that. We no longer even have the safety net of a trained and experienced middle management. The NVQ supervisors now reign supreme. If our best chance is to appoint Ministers who know what they are doing, so it will trickle down, we really are in trouble, that's not even on the horizon.

Frankly, I think it's a deliberate policy, our chances of survival for the mass population rely on our continuing to be a semi skilled low wage economy; with public services to match. An NHS reverting to the pre war, totally insurance based panel doctor type arrangement. With our our present management can you really see us as being able to sell trains to Japan?

You are not but I know Corbyn and Socialism are not the answer.
The real problem is the human race.

Too many people. Not enough resources.

Perhaps mother nature will intervene with a human mass extinction.
Its needed. No world wars or plagues have not helped.

Is not the revenue required proportionate to the sum of the population ? If the annual cost is say £10 / head for medical needs then it doesn't make any difference if we have 50 or 70 milion . Indeed I would think the higher the number the better , though this is probably offset by the increase in epidemics .
It's interesting to note that a lot of people believe we are on borrowed time but no-one knows when this will occur or how . On that principle may I wish you a merry xmas if we are around to see it and if not, could someone turn the gas off.

Or a Supervolcano. That would be more interesting. So... an interesting point. Law and order is about to break down due to a global catastrophe... For fellow prescription reliers that keep them alive.. Food and Water first or the Chemist?

No you don't sonny, he's mine, gotta dog lead ana gimp mask all ready. Lovely. This is how it's going to be, some of us get guns, those who can use them survive, group together, go feral, start to fight amongst ourselves, "Two men enter, one man leaves" Start paying tribute now. Its the future, embrace it.

Bit of an improvement on the X factor and assorted dross as the new entertainment . Once it starts there is no going back . Remember you heard it here first .
