We need to protest and voice our opinions about fuel duty...it affects nearly everyone directly, and affects everyone indirectly.
Costs more for goods to be delivered to stores.

The fat man in the suit wants absolute maximum profits so instead of making £8m profit he wants to make £8.6m profit so those transport costs will be blasted onto the consumer.
No doubt trains and buses will go up, while it's my understand buses get tax free diesel it will no doubt be mentioned annnyway.

Where as the every day motorist cost will go up wildy...car tax continues to rise on the regular and fuel will be hitting £1.70 by the end of the year... I see the £2 litre by end of 2013.
The government needs to take strong, decisive action now; reduce fuel duty by a large amount, eg 20-30p per litre. When they say "oh we postponed a duty increase" or "cut the fuel duty by 3 p..." that makes absolutely no difference at all..where 20-30p would.
And it needs to be done now.

There is a petition site i can't remember; official government jobby. If 100,000 people sign the petition then it will be discussed in parliment. 'Tis what we need

So are our forces not assisting rioters in Libya? They are causing mayhem and wrecking buildings etc in their own country. You see what I am getting at? How do you define what is rioting and what is protesting against a regime that will not listen? Not condoning what is happening in London in any way at all just trying to be devils advocate as it were?

Perhaps we should go 'armed' with seals, not guns?

But they weren't protesters. They were criminal gangs jumping on a dubious bandwagon to see what they could loot from shops, as well as attacking the police as their warped sense of "entertainment".

Should we not send in troops to help the rioters? How do you define rioters or legitimate protesters? Syria. Libyia springs to mind. Not condoning what is happening in any way but just look what is happening throughtout the world how do you define what is right and what is wrong in protesting? Have the Syrian protesters a genuine grievance or are they just rioters etc? Who defines? Thoughts please.

Take more control than the police - not enough of them from what I am watching.

As we know so little about what happened, how can we judge?

It is all supposition, but I am assuming they didn't deliberately get rid of their daughter. As the fate of Madeleine McCann is officially unknown to the authorities, I'll presume she was abducted by a third party. I take this to mean that the McCann's were not totally responsible for her disappearance. The point is, even if the parents were at home, it would not have meant their daughter was perfectly safe from abduction. In other words, leaving their children alone was not the only reason the abduction occurred.

At the end of the day, Madeleine McCann's disappearance was a horrible thing to happen, we can all agree on that.
