Talking to my neighbour who has her children home at the moment, we were wondering if she could charge the school for failing to ensure her children were at school? She had been told that if she took her children out for a family reason in term time the school would have to fine her? Seems it's one rule for them and another for us.

Why would you charge the school?

It's like stealing your own money laugh.gif

I'm sure if you announced your children were on strike, it would be OK.

Brilliant! That's the answer, and reinforces the point, I'll see what my neighbour thinks.
