Indeed, however, Mr enough should perhaps of been slightly more cogent. As it was it just turned out to be another illustration of the paucity of good argument from the lefty yoof.

I think the term is "brainwashed". When you can't debate you really don't have an argument.

Back to the land of the free for a moment, I really hope they do something about taking the guns out of the hands of Bubba and Darleen. The NRA have an awfull hand in this, personally I wouldn't trust the NRA with anything more frightening than a piece of damp string. Wouldn't trust good old Charlton with that!

Don't see whats wrong with me being able to buy an automatic weapon capable if firing 200 rounds a minite. What they really need is silencers for them... Oh wait. ohmy.gif

The sick thing is I bet the US already has a nutjob thinking...58 dead? I can beat that....

"Police have removed a banner over a bridge in Salford that said “hang the Tories”, as people arriving for the Conservative Party conference reacted with horror and disgust.

The banner included two mannequins in suits hanging from nooses and red flag. Tory MP Mike Fabricant said of the people who hung it: “Those aren’t protestors, they’re fascists.”

You would have thought the last thing a far left wing liberal organisation would want is to bring back capital punishment! rolleyes.gif

Armour piercing nuclear tipped rounds as well, it's in the constitution. When you think that all most people want is a mandatory 3 day 'cooling off period' no more ten round mags, no automatic fire weapons and a check on your state of mind it's quite ridiculous the amount of shouting that goes on. Guys, you don't need an AR15 for hunting or target practice, and if you can't hit something with seven rounds you probably wont hit it with the next three!!

I like listening to JRM; him and Hitchens. It is disappointing that both believe in a sky daddy.

Sadly, that’s all I have.

I think JRM makes good arguments and debates well, but find it difficult to trust someone who will criticise another based on ancient religious text. Still, he’s possibly a step up from the political fibbing chicken that is the PM at the moment.

I reckon she is more likely to end up in jail than Trump. And thats why the yanks voted for Trump. They did not want Killary in the White House.

They did. They need to change the constitution if they want to avoid that happening again. She was supposed to win by a landslide though.. and it did not materialise. Lots of people jist didn't trust her. And it seems they were right not to.

That is difficult to call as I am not sure of the wisdom in voting Trump either. It seems American democracy has failed.

US democracy failed at the point you needed to be a billionaire to run... Rather limited gene pool. Lots of people just didn't want Killary though.

I thought you would be pleased; it was the Tories that campaigned against a more representative electoral system in 2011. If the Yes campaign had been successful in 2011, UKIP would have had a more representative presence in the house.

Sadly, I guess as the country is marginally more right-wing than left, it didn't understand the Yes proposal.
