Catch it on iPlayer.

Brian Cox at the Royal institution - almost like the Christmas Lectures for adults, if indeed the Christmas Lectures were ever really for children. The mystery and beatuy of physics, and no woo-woo.

That doesn't leave much to the imagination Penelope.

I like the Wonders of the Universe/Solar System series. Got them on my PC. Very insightful.

I agree with Penelope! I think a lot about atoms these days and I'm hoping for a Cox related gift under the tree!

He was the keyboard player in D.Ream. And as you can guess. "things can only get better"
was their greatest hit. As I said "Crappy"

Aaha, to be honest I'd go for Brian Cox over me any day.

There's something sexy about a man that talks about particle physics in bed.

The labour party were clearly fans of his band - but didn't know anyone else who was! He was wise to choose "geek" as an alternative career path. And geeks can be hot - even James May - but not Patrick Moore!

Heard about the quantum physicist who was pulled over by the police for speeding? "Do you know how fast you were going, sir?" "No, but I know exactly where I am."

Happy Christmas!
