QUOTE (Weavers Walk @ Dec 16 2014, 08:08 AM) Someone seems not happy.... That is a wonderful example of misrepresentation. My wife and I went down there yesterday afternoon and it was very busy, with all but just a couple of stalls open. Shall I take a photograph at the Sainsbury roundabout at 06:00 and use it to tell all that there is no traffic problem?

You must be easily pleased that's all I can say, personally I think it is abysmal & an embarrassment to the town.

I was responding to the OP. Try reading my comment again and stop making stupid assumptions. You must be very easily disappointed.

QUOTE (The Hatter @ Dec 16 2014, 11:20 AM) It's by the big church by the bridge. Went there Saturday afternoon, quite nice really. My GF thought it was pretty good too and a bit different. You could walk through the church as well where they even had some singers doing carols. Ah thanks. I can see that the photo is West Mills now. I was in Lloyd's Bank yesterday, but didn't notice what was round the corner Bit tucked away - I would have thought the Market Place would have been a better location for it.

Try reading my comment again and stop making stupid assumptions. And perhaps you could refrain from making nasty reply's.

QUOTE (nerc @ Dec 16 2014, 09:04 PM) (how or who agreed the access has certainly not done a full risk assessment). .....totally agree.... you could get a nasty splinter off the rough wood on those sheds. It's an unacceptable risk....

We assume that a risk assessment has been carried out and the emergency services have indeed been consulted on acceptable access levels etc after all this is NTC who has set this up and we know full well how efficient they can be don't we?

QUOTE (nerc @ Dec 16 2014, 09:04 PM) I think x2lls is easily pleased with many things.
And what would that be oh clever one?
If he/she thinks the wooden sheds look busy then perhaps its due to the very narrow passage down West Mills (how or who agreed the access has certainly not done a full risk assessment). How the **** could you get an emergency vehicle down there?.
This is certainly NOT a Christmas Market (another balls up by the BID)

QUOTE (Weavers Walk @ Dec 16 2014, 08:08 AM) Someone seems not happy.... WW wasn't clear, and apologies if this has already been covered, but the unflattering comparison between last year's and this year's Chrimbo Markets was posted on what I take to be the official Facebook page of last year's market. Sour grapes methinks. I'm just grateful that our Numpty Town Council didn't have any involvement, and in particular that as far as I am aware no public money was given to support this commercial event.
