This is a call for entries: It's a debating competition testing your rhetoric. You go head-to-head in a round-robin and score points for winning the debate, and whoever gets the most points at the end of the competition wins (there may possibly be a small prize).

Rules:

1. You're anonymous. Please PM me to enter.
2. You're given a proposition to debate, and whether to argue for or against.
3. I'll start a thread for each debate, and you need to PM me your discourse so I can post it for you.
4. You argue in turn, and can make up to six posts, each less than 275 words.
5. At the end of the debate a poll opens for us all to choose the winner, based on how well you've argued your point.

So who's up for it? Please PM me, and if we get enough entries I'll kick it off.

Please feel free to suggest subjects for debate.

Thanks OtE. I'll PM you a psudonym so you're anonymous.

With OtE that makes five. Plenty more room on the starting blocks. Just PM me if you don't want to give folk a clue about who's in the competition.

OK, no worries. Hope you vote in the finals though.
