Because name calling can affect people and lead to depression and suicide. 38 days. Tic toc.

Maybe you should take your own advice, some of the name calling and language I've seen from you is amongst the worst on here!

Prince Charles is a big fan of free degrees I recall.

Hes a fan of a free anything - what with getting given everything for free for his entire life. But maybe that's for another thread.

Did you vote leave JSC ? You don't have to say of course, I am just curious. Especially with your French moniker.

That doesn't demonstrate a tangible benefit though. Just shows that politicians can and do all look after their own.

Back to the old no argument/throw an insult plan then.

Out of interest, as I haven't got an answer from any other brexiteers, can someone give me a real and tangeable benefit of leaving the EU?

Don't worry comrade Corbyn is going to "end" homelessness. I guess he is going to have kidnap squads for the ones that choose to live on the streets and turn down offers of help!

I don't believe anyone chooses to be homeless. I think are some who choose not to accept help that comes with certain caveats, and I am sure there are some who made bad choices which led them to their situation. But it flies in the face of human nature to make life hard for yourself.

Indeed. And there are far more important things in the world than the EU and Brexit. I for one can't wait for the 29th March to come and go so we can focus on something else.

Oh I don't imagine the 29th of March will be the end date for all this, not even if we actually leave. This is going to run and run...

Never heard hoim be referredto as just GW before, thanks for clarifying. Do you think he's regarded as an elder statesman? I thought he was disrespected just as much as trump.

I agree with Newres, Blair was bloody brilliant as a leader for a political party he brought them more success than any party has seen since. John Smith was only ever in opposition so you'd have to judge him differently, but he certainly had the party behind him, so I guess I agree with TDH a little bit as well.

90% of the membership may be pro EU but a vast majority of Labour voters voted leave and this the conundrum facing the party. Corbyn knows this but it is the paid up members that are keeping him in a job and they are more interested in pushing their left wing agenda than ditching it in favour of forming a government. All he had to say was that Labour would support the Chequers agreement and it would now all be done and dusted and it would show that he was a man of principle that put country first, but oh no he sits on the fence like humpty dumpty in the knowledge that it may hurt whichever side he falls.

Being pro Brexit is the opposite of putting the country first. He is ina tough place but I agree that he should have done a lot more than he has.

Just because you don't like somehitng about a country doesn't mean you should leave! You can try and have a positive change. The running away mentality is like a stroppy teenager outlook, or brexiteers!

Catholic schools are often a haven in a sea of local poor performance. It’s not that. Almost without exception poor performance reflects the wealth of the local population. Catholic schools buck the trend because they draw from further afield. That’s not the case with CofE.

Again, it's the title, ring doorbells are or at least should be if you have any interest in the internet of everything a very well known security device, the fact that you appeared not to know this indicates that you're not as clever as you tell some of the elderly whom you bully. You really do come across more and more like a total dingus. But tell me, or rather advise me please, as you're the forum computer expert, I'm putting together a new rig, what would you go with? Coffee lake? Or AMD 2000? And why. Note it's primary use will be gaming so take that into consideration. Also if I'm doing an oc, which I will, which mobo would you go for?

If it's in the title then it should be capitalised. I'd advise buying one, I think it will blow your mind.

What, you mean the fact she said labour were in the lead and Ms Bruce was looking at a poll "issued by Downing St"? The FACT that several INDEPENDENT polls in the last few weeks say differently? The fact that once again when shown to be out of her depth she plays the race card? Again.

Clearly not then. Because that isn't what happened and you have no evidence to suggest that it did. Which kind of highlights the problem and bad is Diane Abbot up because for whatever reason, you think it's ok to lie about Her and what happened and not have to justify it. Why?

Would hardly consider a doorbell cutting edge, and the phrase ring doorbell is an action as well as a brand name. And you haven't put a link or even mentioned it in your op. I don't come on this forum much, I forget how old and unable some of you are

And there's the problem. JSC now thinks she was wrong, because that's the portrayal of her. In spite of evidence to the contrary and plenty information out there, you're now citing something that's not true as a fact. And that is why the complaint should be investigated as the repercussions are too detrimental to ignore it.

The next generation aren't widely regarded as the worst generation ever. The next generation have to sort out the mess left behind by the greed and selfishness of the baby boomers, who had everything on a plate but cannot stomach anyone else having a comfortable life.

Now they are going to be left to sort out Brexit as well.

QUOTE (Turin Machine @ Jan 21 2019, 06:15 PM) *
It was question time, and no, it's not. I watched that and while I can't say what went on in the green room her treatment during the program reflected her position and ignorance of the facts. She's a poor Shadow home Sec and that's glaringly obvious. She can't expect that to be glossed over. Simply calling justified criticism 'racist' is weak, poor and helps to divert public attention away from the real issue of genuine racism that should be addressed when found. She's out of her depth.

She was dismissed as being wrong and the (impartial bbc) presenter, Fiona Bruce, stopped the discussion, said "No, you are wrong" and allowed someone to continue berating her. That in itself isn't really fair, and not what the programme is supposed to be. But now it is alleged that the audience were "wound up" during the warm up to direct negativity towards her. And not anyone else on the panel.

So imagine it was Farage or Davis or someone and tell me you agree that it is acceptable.

Don't you need friends to warrant having a doorbell? Why not put something in your OP that gives us a clue. you're the one asking for advice!
