It must be my day for being Mr Angry but this is a traversty of justice.

How can it be possible that the 3 Labour MPs to be put on trial for stealing tax payers money in the expenses scandal are being given permission to take more tax payers money to hire very very expensive barristers to defend them.
This is wrong, wrong, wrong and should be stopped. It's like being mugged all over again.

I expect they will get compensation for hurt feelings if they are found guilty!

Mr Average Taxpayer just gets hit again and again each time more ridiculous than the last.

What party of government will reverse this ridiculous state of affairs? sad.gif

I always believed legal aid was for people on low incomes who could not afford a barrister or solicitor. As well as their salary these MP's will get a substantial golden handshake when they leave parliament.
