As per the title really, I see people come on here and either become discouraged at the political threads or mumble something about lack of topics. So, here's your chance, cars, clothes W.A.M.T, W.C.M.U.T. IT, tradesmen, DIY, anything.

What annoyed me? Nothing
What cheered me up? Jo Swinson

Anti democratic leaders deserve to lose.

What annoyed me? - WH Smith standards of service at Post Office Counters. Really just an irritation; means I'll simply use our local sub instead.
What cheered me up? - New rail times actually suit me pretty well plus we have a direct mid morning train to Exeter

Never quite understand why some innocuous little local web page can be deemed a threat yet if one is stupid enough to go through a third party payment site nothing is flagged.
I used to have Firefox but returned to google, despite it's obvious flaws.

Edge does exactly the same unless you replace https:// from the link on the main site with http://

The "dire" consequences are being highlighted owing to the very right wing, neo-nazi, opinions that many contributors are now posting. Obviously certain web browsing companies are behaving in a responsible manner and flagging up the dangers of reading such propaganda, and steering you in the direction of something a little more innocuous.
I was going to say Sooty but apparently even he is coming under scrutiny. rolleyes.gif

I genuinely think that as far as online goes, we’re so divided that any thread will descend into enmity. Not just this forum btw. I suspect in the real world we’dprobably all get on ok.

Before my time. The trick is to keep off the subjects that divide us. There's more that unites us than divides us. I'd exclude Union Jack waving, tattooed fat beer swilling yobs from that btw but I doubt any on here would care to share time with people like that.

Unless of course we happen to fall into that category. cool.gif "If only god the gift did gee us...." I do get the point though.
