[quote name='JeffG' date='Aug 24 2009, 12:45 PM' post='6769'] I think Sarah was suggesting that to say "all teenage girls are pushing prams around town centres" might be overstating the case a tiny bit [/quot the bottom line no they should`nt get housed if they new this from the start they would think twice about getting pregnant

QUOTE (graham @ Aug 24 2009, 08:31 AM) Is it ? i dont think so No you're probably right, it isn't a slight exaggeration, more on the lines of a rather large one. On one topic it would appear that most teenagers are either doing A levels or attending Uni, on this topic you seem to feel that all teenage girls are pushing prams around town centres, I won't comment on the fashionable bit, just say that the figures don't appear to add up. While there obviously is a problem with teenage pregnancies, I don't think tarring all teenage girls with the same brush is very helpful.

It is simple really, you need a system that has the ability to tell the genuinely disenfranchised form the lazy and workshy. Sadly the system we have now is too frightened of being seen to be politically incorrect and is far too concerned with peoples rights rather than right and wrong. You need a government with a will to deliver a fair and just system.

QUOTE (Iommi @ Aug 24 2009, 03:56 PM) If you can think of a way, please pass it on! If only I was that clever and could exert such influence. Oh Well

You need a government with a will to deliver a fair and just system. It might seem simple to the average man in the street, but human nature has to be taken into account. No matter how just and fair a system is, there will always be those that will find a way around it and abuse that system.
