When will the council announce what decisions have been taken about the proposed Market Street development? Are they keeping quiet because they intend to fleece the taxpayer out of assets like the Parkway scheme did? Will we be giving away more of the council car park revenue? Will we be paying out millions for more affordable housing that won't be used because housing associations can't afford to buy them from the developer?

We need answers, not more secrecy from our elected members and the power hungry officers who control them.

I am bemused by the idea that housing associations have to buy 'affordable housing' - surely such houses should be available to the public, specifically those doing useful, lower paying jobs.

If you ask straight questions, without a load of added opinion, blathering and sub-questions (and maybe tell us what the question was) we can likely form an opinion on whether you have been ignored.

The Market Street Question has been banging around for many years, so a lack of an immediate answer on anything detailed does not surprise me.
