QUOTE (Ozzy @ Dec 4 2010, 10:12 AM) Must admit i have had similar disappointment in that store.
You should write and complain to head office. Chances are they will sort out the local store or at least bring it up with them. Maybe you might even get some vouchers? I wont shop there anymore. I visited a couple of times wanting to buy a laptop, the staff were clearly not interested in helping, more interested in chatting to themselves about what lunch break they were on etc. I wrote to head office, got a reply acknowledging my letter and that was it!

QUOTE (Strafin @ Dec 4 2010, 10:36 AM) There is already 2 threads for this. Just saying. Now there is free three... but I take your point; using less paper will save the world from a catastrophe and help the environment. We should all do our part.

QUOTE (GMR @ Dec 4 2010, 01:20 PM) The only problem with places like Sainsbury's they've got no expert people on the subject matter... but then again nor does Curry's in Newbury. I'd recommend advice available on the Internet more than from a shop assistant.

The technical people at Novatech are extremely savvy if you need information. I have bought all my computing stuff from them for years - and they now have a store in Reading if you prefer to collect.

QUOTE (JeffG @ Dec 4 2010, 08:08 PM) In case I misled you, by live chat I didn't mean talking on the phone (although you can do that if you prefer), but an instant messaging feature on their site during office hours. OK, thanks for that. It seems personal contact is dying.
