My laptop has failed to install the latest OS update (Windows 8.1 I think) and now it won't boot up so I need someone to fix it.

Based on your experiences who would you recommend as a trustworty and competent technician?

Yes, JH Computer Services. I use him when I have problems. Reliable, fair and honest. He also built me a computer to my specifications. I highly recommend him.

If you are interested PM and I'll give you his phone number.

Just stay well clear of ICN in the wharf. Surprised they're still in business.

When you say it won't boot up, what exactly happens? does it partially load and stop?
Any error codes shown? Did the update get interrupted?

I sure hope so, but they are still on Google. I haven't been down that way for a while.
