It was a shame that there weren't a few more people in Northbrook Street earlier to see the march past, but all the same -those that did see them were filled with pride and glad that we took ten mins out to show our respect.

I would have gone, but in the NWN yesterday there was no time, and by the time i read the article on Newbury Today, it was about 12

It was extremely badly publicised, this doesn't show much support for our troops. other towns can do better, it would have been better if it wasn't when people were at work as well. Saturday morning would have been better.

I agree; i went there with my camera only to be told it was over.
They did have an article but it didn't give times; maybe they were worried that somebody might turn up if they gave the times

Having just watched the video of the march, there was more people there than i thought. The way Jacklets put it, I thought there were only a few people there.
