Chaps

I contacted WBC planning with a request and they suggested I should contact my local ward Councillor. This I duly did and got a response on 7th Nov 14. The Councillor replied he was unsure of the answer but "I will seek advice and get back to you as soon as I have information to give".

Since then nothing, not even a response to me asking if he'd gotten any further.

What would the team think is an acceptable timeframe for this sort of thing?

(It's regarding buying a bit of council land.)

Lack of acknowledgement , particularly from WBC and their ilk , seems to be the norm now . I suggest you email them again and enquire to why the delay ? They may a have financial headache but that is not your fault and, after all , they wanted the job .
You will be none to pleased if you lose out on any transaction .
