Am I alone in rejoicing just a little at the events in a Basque town that has resulted in a little retribution being handed out to the barbaric louts that view the spectacle of bovine slaughter as a some kind of art form.How a civilized society can tolerate something that has it's base in the gladiatorial arenas of ancient Rome is totally beyond me.
One can only assume that their God whoever he is,is a little less compassionate to His creations that one would expect. Bulls 1 people 0 Hooray !! -------------------- Rem tene verba sequentur

You never did anything when you were young then that was a bit on the wild side? If you have kids and they ever take one hit of Ecstasy or Coke then I hope they die because they deserve 'It'. Shame on you. |

GoodBoy. In Pamplona they have a Bull run and thousands of people from all over the World run with the Bulls. It is not for the faint hearted and some see it as a rite of passage. One unfortunate young Spanish lad got gored by a bull and had his jugular and aorta hit by a bulls horn. He died.
This chap is celebrating his death. Now you see my point? |

And having seen pictures of the bull, looking confused, frightened and being beaten with sticks, it seems more like a defence response than anything else
