The big National Politician's have been granted a pay rise so therefore it follows that their wannabe locals will follow suit. When the Plebs started objecting it was stated that the politicians had no hand in the decision it was decided by an independent panel? Then it was pointed out that so was the minimal rise that was decided on by an independent panel that was for NHS staff. But of course that was not allowed because the Nation could not afford it.
