Wod on the street is that Boris is set to lose the court case. I wonder if a plan B exists.

Only for the past 14 years.

Libbers got in at the 93 by-election, before that the Tories go back to 1923, so almost a century of stable governance. Tory country.

My most enduring memory of Pammy is him standing in front of a camera bewailing the Tories austerity policy and bemoaning the lack of police;
"You never see any police around here, they're just not around, it's the Tories fault you can't find a police officer here anymore"
Whilst just over his left shoulder, in a hi Vis was, you guessed it, a police officer.

He's like the other one, if you're not a black lefty you're obviously a racist nazi. A dialogue to nowhere.

I really can't see how he's going to manage this, I really can't. It looks increasingly like he's going to crash out then get that reversed in the lawcourts and be forced to resign.

Meanwhile, after enduring years of corduroy jezz wibbling on about needing an election this is why he's now hiding under a rock.

Personally I think the term right wing nut jobs should only be used when referring to exremist groups like the EDL. But anyone right of centre is now a "right wing nut job" eh?

According to the lefty rabble of Marxist suckers of life from the economy. The rabble alliance.

As for Ms Thornberry. I'll get a deal and then recommend we remain in a referendum. The art of the deal she ain't got.🤣🤣🤣

Unelectable. Lammy, Corbyn, Abbott, McDonnell, Thornberry... the list is endless. How is it possible for an opposition to be languishing so far behind in the polls after the calamity of the current incumbents?

Because they're toxic, and too stoopid to realise it. Speshul, the lot of them.

Keeping his head down. Still at least Mr 'impartial' Bercows off.

I can't see it happening myself. I was just trying to translate the meaning of another post for you. If it does happen, I would be very happy for you to donate £50 to the Launchpad charity (http://www.launchpadreading.org.uk) though.

No problems, and thanks for the much needed translation from gibberish into English.

James, tell you what, I'll donate £50.00 to a charity of your choice if the Tories lose this seat in the next GE. Fair?

I doubt he does. BUT his company benefits directly from CAP. So it is a conflict of interest. And all this rubbish about caring about the poorest of his constituents he has been spouting... yeah.. of course...

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.mirror.co....ter-3786578.amp

It's a consortium, not him personally.

Market rates? Seems fair, it's not a charitable trust.

"Britain’s housing crisis is worsened by weak legal protection for private tenants, who can be forced out of homes they have lived in for years at a few weeks’ notice." Is nonsense and the worst of a poorly written piece of sensationalist tripe.

It'll be a LibDem MP I suspect. I assume the Greens & LibDems at least will do a deal and the Tories will just keep their extreme vote here.

That made no sense on any level.

Benyon came across very well on TV today, very credible. And, quarter session court throws out legal attempt to stop prorogation.

I can see what BJ is doing, but he's playing with fire. Brinkmanship is one thing but he's betting the pot on a pair of eights, gunna crash n burn and hand the whole game over to the dark lord of Marxist chaos.

And what will happen after a GE. My guess... a hung parliament with the Tories as the biggest party or a small majority for them. 😂 Won't solve anything...did you see the "protests?" yesterday? Never seen so many middle class white people in one place. Sums it up.

But someone started a petition! That'll scare Boris off. 😂

They will all go no comment apart from pinning it on the 13 year old. He'll get a spell in youth custodial and all the rest will walk away to rob and murder elsewhere... when he gets out he will get looked after.

Maybe a need for strong justice. I remember once when I moved a field shelter and we discovered a rats nest underneath it. They were politely requested to mind their P's and Q's, or was that someone else. If they walk they will be invulnerable. You cannot simply kill a copper and get away with it. Apparent;y the van has disappeared, wonder how?

I am immensely saddened and shocked to read that a police officer lost his life last night whilst in pursuit of his duties, I think it's a measure of society that this can happen. My thoughts and condolences go out to his family and brother officers. 😔
