Just as well they warned us! I was going to fling the Mayor's hat on to the Town Hall and flash-dry my gym kit over an unattended chip pan this weekend - now I think I'll leave it until they're back to full strength on Monday.

They're at it again as we speak. (or rather not at it!)
We have to take EXTRA care as opposed to our usual blasé approach to fire prevention.
Only dial 999 if it is a "genuine" emergency as opposed to your usual calls to report false ones! sad.gif

Thanks for the warning CharlieF! A worrying thought struck me; the town hall is full of paper and is tinder dry in this weather. Should a few of us from here be keeping a watch, just in case? ......fag break anyone?
