Kennet School gave pupils 48 hours notice of the closure. I am self employed and had to take the day off - so will not get paid.

Pension Fund ? Mine was frozen years ago because I could not afford to pay into it. When I opted to start it again recently, I was advised by a financial advisor that it wasn't worth the paper it was written on as it hadn't been performing. So teachers - welcome to my world !

I won't get paid today but at least the weather is nice - certainly doesn't win my support though.
