QUOTE (Spider @ Dec 11 2012, 08:25 PM) *
David was very serious. Rules are important, but at the same time we must adapt to society and events. We must never put obstacles in the way of success. I know that people have been on their high horse because they had adapted when given the chance to co-govern, but it was something they couldn't refuse if they wanted power. What any party says today maybe is ok for today but circumstances can change what was promised for future events. Power is always the ultimate goal. Without it we can't take the citizens in the right direction.

I would prefer an intelligent debate than silly comments. If you don't agree then say so and we can debate the points but let us stop this silly one liners shall we?

Anyone know where I can get one?

There has always been degenerates within society. It is those people society has to deal with.

It doesn't matter what the nurses state of mind was, what is important is that we must make sure that it never happens again. Maybe stronger legislation might help. Not just looking at the papers but all media.

So how are you going to prevent unforeseen events?
As for more rules, how typical of a knee jerk reaction. There are far too many examples of existing rules, regulations, bylaws etc which are adequate, not enforced. Oh yeah, let's make up some more to add to the pile already not being used.

I agree with NWNREADER's comment. What was highlighted was an assumption that joe public is stupid and needs a meddling state.

Can you explain how making an oath then breaking it is moral?

Tiss funny do you not think that he/she/it joined at exactly the same time that 1979 stopped posting? 1979 being an out and out Flamer as the Arachnid is.

What would the point of that be? It is not as if he is masquerading as a superhero or something. It is a bit like putting a hundred weight around his neck and then jumping in the deep end of the pool and boasting about it.

Oh I don't think he'll be back.
A few people know why. wink.gif

Also Mr 1979 never used italics, or much punctuation.

That's easy and I'm surprised you hadn't thought of it. Spider could be on a mission to to make Lib Dems look daft by appearing to be an evangelist while offering ridiculous points of view. We have no proof Spider is a genuine Lib Dem supporter; this is an anonymous forum.

I could be wrong of course.

Logical opinion - but could anyone improve on what they do so well themselves? laugh.gif

It still wouldn't be a problem. The hot air would keep them afloat.

And does anybody really need to come in and make the Lib-Dem's look daft? They are managing to do that on their own without an anonymous Lib-Dem hater joining to do what they are doing themselves. In other words he is - if you are right - pushing at an open door.
