I've just seen the rumour on the other forum that there will be no santa in Newbury this year? Surely this is not true? If it turns out that neither Parkway, the Kennet Centre or anyone else can provide one, there's certainly a lack of festive spirit in Newbury this year.

What do you mean can "else can provide one". Surely there's only one Santa?

Yes and he is not in Newbury this year. Or do you know otherwise? I Suggest Nick Carter be made to sit in a Grotto in one of the empty units in Parkway for the whole of December as penanace for the Parkway fiasco. At least it would keep him from signing any more contracts for a while that would cost the poor taxpayers again? rolleyes.gif

Hardly surprising. Retailers only cough up £1000 for the Christmas lights - maybe they expect someone else to provide a Santa too.

Exactly.... No ned to 'provide one', as he will turn up as he always does.

Phew!

There shouldn't be any need to worry the children of Newbury that he might not be delivering presents to them.
