Following on from the CCTV debacle, I thought forum readers may be interested to be keen to learn that the town Pubwatch scheme is in some disarray.
Apparently, the former Pubwatch chairman has moved to pastures new and taken all the records with him of who's banned from the town pubs! It obviously doesn't mean thugs aren't getting barred from pubs, just that there's no blanket ban in operation. I recall this is supposed to be a major tool in crime fighting. Anyway, what do you think of this idea -------------------- Newbury's #1 ill-informed internet poster
