Simple question that I hope someone on here can answer; why can't they just shoot it down? These things certainly do not travel as fast as a clay pigeon or a game bird with a following wind. I see the Dutch are training eagles to bring tackle the problem but it does appear to be a complicated way of cracking a walnut.

Gatwick Airport said police did not want to shoot the drones down because of the risk from stray bullets.

Now I, and you, know. Better to delay 5,000 flights than risk missing a foot square item hovering at 150ft. They don't have to use a s*****g machine gun. angry.gif
