As I believe has been said before, it's no use just bridging the crossing. That would not alleviate the problem much and instead create even more traffic on that road.
It would have to be part of a complete new Eastern ring road or by-pass. laugh.gif
(Sorry, couldn't help laughing, it's just that's what should have been built in the first place!)
Need a complete new road to link the A4 to the A339.

Depends what problem you are trying to alleviate, as far as the railway is concerned, it eliminates a level crossing, just like little used Ufton....which I seem to remember was originally also said to be 'to hard and too costly'.
