And no one saw this happening... I love that part of our main news today is sheep stealing and an argument about an abandoned field.

It seems they should have put the sheep in the overgrown field and got it cut for free! Now that is big society

Who do you trust writing an article.... BBC news or Newbury Today?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-berkshire-12864854 277 Sheep

http://www.newburytoday.co.uk/News/Article...articleID=16304 350 Sheep

There's a huge difference here... But should we really be concerned...???

Oh and in other news wink.gif Feed Swans brown bread, not White bread wink.gif and the picture to coincide with the article..... A SWAN!!! yeah baby yeah!!!! Why couldn't it be Brown Bread?

Good to see you posting again GBR!

277 sounds to me like a more accurate number. 350 more like a guestimate.

Perhaps they tried to count them but kept falling asleep?

Thanks Dannyboy

I've been too long away from this forum. I have been a busy young man! Shame that there are still idiots driving the streets like a Bad boy.. I feel like getting a screw driver and popping a tire on them... I'm sure Mc Donalds will be very happy wink.gif or would they...

But yes, I only ever pop on here now to see the news articles.

Seems like NWN wins with the number of sheep missing tongue.gif I would say, if anyone is stealing sheep, these people must be from another region, I only think this because If I was to steal sheep, I would travel 100 miles to find a farm, perhaps I would investigate the whereabouts first, how to get in, etc.. So no one notices that 1 day I have no sheep, the next day, I have 277 oops I mean 350 and then get suspected. I bet I'm right wink.gif and no, I'm not the theif... Just a Good Boy.

So the chances of getting those poor little fellas back, very slim. sad.gif Some farmer must be depressed because of this... all his work and money just gone.

Or perhaps the local doner van offerings will have a higher proper meat content in future..
