The storyline The Sun uses is the same as in many other publications. However, the film seems to have no link with the alleged accident, and is a simple WW2 adventure.

It looks like it's just the Pun that's reporting on Greenham being used for shooting, with the other sources simply aping the zombs/bombs thing, so I can't help but wonder if they haven't conflated Pitt's latest film Fury with his recent World War Z which saw filming at the former American airbase at Upper Heyford.
