Eh? I believe the agreement was if it were completed by Summer 2009... it's no longer summer!

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, pretty sure that's what the deal was though!

Funny how people's memories fade when convenient isn't it Andrea?

If, as I believe, you are correct, maybe the bet should be reversed.

Whichever way it goes though I want video evidence of the undergarment devourance, whether being worn at the time or not! wink.gif

From the opening date, I wonder how long it will take for the first complaint or whinge to appear either in the NWN or on one of Newbury's finest internet forums? wink.gif

You know, queues, prices, seats, sound, vision, others eating, mobiles, lack of food/drink outlets, quality of the movies etc. chatting through the movie etc. Knowing Newbury I reckon no more than 1 day!

It is inevitable, but it is also not unique to Newbury, I would imagine.

I think that the 26th could be classed as late October!!!!!!

Happy Munching and dont foget to film it wink.gif

For your sake i hope you dont wear big pants tongue.gif

Simon,

I've done my own snooping and found my post:

Jun 30 2009, 04:04 PM Post #85

According to the original news report by Newbury Today, the cinema was to open it's doors summer 2009.

First day of Autumn is September 22nd, so if the cinema is done by then, I WILL eat my pants, I'll film it and put it on youtube!
