Every morning... between 5am and 6am a Biker rides down the Andover Road from the Gun to St Johns at 100MPH plus.

This has been going on for 6 months.

He will kill himself.... or some poor old soul out to buy an early Newspaper soon.

Just saying...... angry.gif

Thing is... the speed he is going at I can't see the fuzz ever catching up with them unless they have an eye in the sky!

Anyone else heard / seen this Biker? blink.gif

If you stretch a piece of wire, or if you're feeling generous a bungee cord, across the road between two lamp columns it should get rid of him. It worked for my mate's granded.... mind you he was in the French Resistance at the time.....

Funny thing about speed cameras, they are only for a fixed point.

They have "unmarked" Police bikes on Norfolk roads. Sundays....to try and stop them.
They race from town to town. Noiser than the Tornado jets heading for RAF Marham

Do they still have singing postmen in Norfolk CE?

What, they slow from 100mph+ to 30 and then back up to over 100 again?? blink.gif

No. OtE. The bikers are all sensible until they hit a tree. Mostly on their own.
Postmen....A few. Combine Harversters...They have got bigger. A lot bigger.

I've certainly seen vehicles do just that for this speed camera - I couldn't say what speed exactly, but significantly fast. A decent bike will decelerate from 100mph to 30mph in much less than 100m, and accelerate back in the same kind of distance, so it's quite possible on this stretch of road if you're inclined to do it.

Actually when I read the title I also thought it was about you; a bit disappointing really. A sort of let down. Biker1, well that would be a story worth getting your teeth into. But a 'biker' travelling at speeds down a busy road isn't that interesting, unless you are on the receiving end of that lunatic biker. Never mind, something is better and than nothing and nothing is really what happens on this forum laugh.gif

I think Biker1 is a probably quite a law abiding rider, a bit like myself I expect wink.gif ! And while I think this person is a 1st class idiot who deserves to be caught ( If he is actually doing 100 mph !! ) & who gives the rest of us a bad name, the road is probably very quiet & hardly busy at that time of morning. I personally think the loons in their souped up Peugeot's & Cleo's etc. who race round local villages where there are young Children playing are just as bad if not worse angry.gif .

Careful, you will have motormad giving you grief about that latter comment.

I used to enjoy carving up the twisties but going super fast in a straight line was a bit boring.
Especially going to or from work, I just wanted to get there safely.
