What’s the correct term? A brace of nutters? It had to be one of the oddest meetings in history. No one’s mentioned Trump’s steel tariffs.

I'm feeling generous.

He/she/it will always say in response to a thread "But you didn't mention blah blah blah". NO IDIOT! I didn't mention the sodding steel because that was NOT my point!

And your point is? The last time I checked he was the democratically elected president of the USA and as such it is his job to do what he thinks is best for his citizens. I doubt he felt the need to consult with newres of Newbury.😂

Do you not recall Mr Roosevelt?
The correct term is diplomacy, though in this case the stick got put on show in advance..

Well let’s hope the EU is prepared to take it on the chin because Brexit and a world trade war would not be good for our economy.

After brexit we won't be in the EU, that's the point.

Yet another valid reason to distance ourselves from Brussels. As far as Trump's planned tete a tete with Kim Jong-un, it has to be a positive step as matters couldn't be any worse. If they both agree to a change of hair stylist it will be something. wink.gif

If there’s a global trade war it won’t make any difference whether we’re in the EU or not. We are still a global economy and will suffer if the EU and US go into recession.

Im still waiting for the plague of pestilence, house price crashes and depression to hit us after we voted brexit. Seems like it is nearly 2 years now...my salary has doubled in that time.😂

I guess that the best outcome with NK talks is for Kim Jong-whatever to stop using nukes and POTUS to stop using Twitter

Nope. But be happy. Positivity is a good thing. Libtard negativity is not.
