It's not an age thing, although there are more and more of them.

Hey! Watch it! I'm coming up to 72 next week and have just started a job partially in Manchester, partially at home. Part of the job is to design, specify, etc plant to unload biomass from rail trucks and recover it for firing power station boilers, the second part is to mentor young engineers to pass on to them the experience I have gained over the years. So I don't think I'm past it! tongue.gif

I wouldn't have said you were! It was a wry observation on my part reading between the lines. Logan's Run comes to mind.

Well that's good for you. Glad you're empowering your senior years and passing on knowledge. Too many oldies, in my opinion, rest on their laurels with the whole "ohh, back in my day..." while sitting at home watching Jeremy Kyle.

You can't be 72 though, you put a ":P", lol.

Influence of having children at an 'old' age and having young grandchildren now. All of them being a bit rude at times. Bit like the subject of motor bikes on another thread, I don't bike other than cycle, but I fly a 'quiet' microlight and part own a main line steam loco that runs on the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway to keep me in contact with the real world. wink.gif
