Using a mobile phone whist driving kills people and he, of all people who is campaigning for a "safer" A34 should be fully aware of this.
It is irrelevant that he was in slow traffic. Bad practice spreads like a cancer and people seeing him doing this would think it's OK for them to copy.
The driver of the lorry that killed three people this year made a mistake and both their family and himself will not see the end of the story for the rest of their lives.

Difficult for me personally to find being anti-bloodsports, but irrelevant in this case anyway.
