As a once semi pro photographer, I know which side of the fence I'm on...

Is it my monitor, my eyesight or are those pictures truly out of focus?

I could make out a face like shape on the right hand side of the tree in the third one. But I pretty much think that it's nonsense.

I worry about the NWN if that is the sort of stuff they consider worthy of publication.

Indeed!!! I do hope they don't take up half a page in the actual newspaper with such drivel!!! Perhaps it's been a pretty quite week for news???

In other news, perhaps if they ran with a decent resolution and DPI for the photos we'd be able to see more? I've noticed it a few times recently with the online photos.

Hard times for local newspapers, that's for sure - look how many of them have gone under in the last decade. A really interesting item was a letter in the NWN, a few years back now, from a chap who said he, and his family, had seen something looking like aircraft wreckage suspended in the sky over Thatcham not many weeks previously. He then went on to say that, as a young man, one night he'd been in a group out walking in Cliftonville when a bus approached with its saloon lights on but only sidelamps showing and passed them. Only trouble was that the bus was in the sky... He reckoned it was connected with the Gillingham bus disaster a few years before.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1951_Gillingham_bus_disaster

I've never seen or heard anything unusual but know some tough guys, ex commando, ex RAF types etc, who reckon they have so am prepared to keep an open mind.

It's well known that the brain subconsciously tries to make sense of random patterns, and quite often it's a face that emerges.

Why do these photographers insist on using 1MegaBit cameras? Might as well re-create their images using an etch-a-sketch!

Look... Here's a real photo of an alien!

do you mean mega pixel? And if you do that only really affects picture quality when you are zooming right in.

Just seen an orange Chinese lantern-come-UFO crossing Thatcham headed towards Bucklebury at 10:21 tonight. If it comes down in the woods over Bucklebury, might make some work for the fire brigade. Got it on video, but just orange light crossing the sky. Was going a reasonable speed considering the wind speed at the time was zero MPH.
Played back in slow motion shows a bright yellow light surrounded by orange.

Only an irresponsible idiot would set off these things in rural areas under such dry conditions.

Perhaps everyone in Newbury is living in purgatory and none of us are really here. The photo's are just flashes of an alternate universe. This sounds like it could be the basic plot of an over rated television program that has lost its way

I have given the NWN footage of some 10 plus objects flying towards Greenham at high speed. Please NWN, put up the film and let people decide what it is...

You could upload to youtube and share the link here. Would be interesting to see these objects.
