Just sitting here at Turin Towers watching my zero hours slaves manicuring my rolling acres with nail scissors and it occurred to me, I haven't seen any police patrols out lately stopping drivers to test them, have you? And why? When drink driving has become so anti social (along with not wearing seat belts) why has the same not applied to using mobiles? And come to that speeding? Just seems odd that we can reduce our risk level by applying common sense in some things but not others. Odd that.
What driving restrictions would you lot most like to see enforced, given that the boys in blue can't do everything? Answers on a postcard please. Political rants will go on the fire unopened!

The stock in trade response is to " educate " people as to why they should not speed , drink , use mobiles etc . Once some erudite lacky has stood before a camera and uttered a few niceties on the matter all is well . Simples .

I agree! Headlines should read "Beleaguered Tory part MP paint bullseye on own forehead". What a dufus.

Would loved to have been a fly in the googles of the motorcycle cop who pulled Beynon over for using his phone in the traffic queue .
" Scuse me Sir but are you aware it as offence to use a mobile device whilst in charge of a motor vehicle ?".
" Of course officer I am an MP ".
"An M what Sir ?
" P man P .
" No need to get personal Sir , I am going to issue you with a statuary summons to attend a magistrates court ".
" Drive carefully now " . tongue.gif

Of course , after all he was elected by the sane members of the great unwashed and therefore entitled to be treated accordingly .
I wouldn't mind so much if he held his hand up and admitted to being an f ing idiot but oh no , we get the " man in my position " grovelling as though somehow he is different to the rest of us .
Maybe he is . wink.gif wink.gif

He is. Silver spoon. Family fortune. Owns half of West Berkshire. Never been impressed since the days when he was in charge of fisheries and couldn't name the fish.😂
