When the great store that was the Invicta Bookshop closed, the owners said they would open a unit in Hungerford. However, I have yet to find it; does anyone know where it is? I have searched the antique stores with no luck.

Also, does anyone know if they will take a unit at the new Park Way development?

Seems like a golden opportunity for a relaunch in Newbury.

They have had an outlet in the Hungerford Arcade for years, long before the Newbury closure. They also sell out of a garden centre at Chilton or somesuch.

They were also planning to sell online and from their house - I haven't seen either of them for a couple of months so can't say how close to fruitiion these plans are.

There is zero chance of them opening a shop in Parkway - the rents are far, far, too high for Invicta. They did try to find an alternative location in Newbury, without success.

The Invicta Bookshop have a unit in Hungerford Arcade. Top of the stairs, on the L hand side of the stairs to the cafe. There are 3 bookselers in Hungerford Arcade, so knowing which is which can be tricky. The Invicta have IB, or 'unit 28' inside each book. Internet wise, they have some books on ABE.

I see the Invicta Boys are back in town!

They have taken a room in 'Craftsman' in Bart St.
