According to this site, that is a three year-old chinese boy - but hey, fat and foreign, what's not to laugh at.

Of course, Simon Kirby doesn't understand comedy, or sarcasm, or wee-wee taking. After all, if someone made me pay for my shed I'd be miserable too.

One persons PC definition of 'wrong' is not the same as anothers....

Thankfully that's very true.

So are you saying that the picture of the three year old Chinese boy (representing the new North Korean leader from his 'autobiography' at an early age) was funny? Funny, because, you know, nudge nudge, they all look the same to you.

Yeah, it's a laugh riot.

And what sort of a name is Rusty Bullet? Are you condoning the use of bullets? Are you in fact a war monger? The use of weaponry in a username can only mean you like war.....

That just about sums up your logic.

I knew he was chinese because I typed in "fat chinese boy" into Google. Unlike most I don't refer to koreans as Chinese, if I'm unsure I'll say asian. It was a comedy post, should know that's the usual from me by now.

Besides Kim Jong Ills offspring didn't damage my wheels (which are worth quite a bit) and then deny it.

My logic is that Chinese people are not Koreans.

Funny how quickly the abuse starts when the argument is lost.

Some people need to lighten up.

Argument lost? I believe XJAY meant it as a Joke. You took offence at that joke. I can't see him burning crosses on the A4 somehow.. rolleyes.gif

Very true, but a consequence of most forums.
As a victim myself I have been offended many times on here and complained to Admin to no avail so I think I'll join the club!! tongue.gif
Don't be a prat "Rusty Bullet" (or whoever you are posting as today) by doing the offending for someone else.
The world is full of pseudo offence takers.
If it offended a Chinese or Korean the let them say so for themselves.

That's the spirit, stop being a girl and get stuck in! After all, not only is it a mature attitude to take, enough wrongs must eventually make right; right? tongue.gif

I don't think this is about 'pseudo offence takers, whatever that means, I see it as more of a home truth. For me, I didn't see it as funny, but not because I thought it offensive (a bit rich when we are amongst the fattest nations on earth), but because it didn't make me laugh. Now 'Team America: World Police' portrayal did make me laugh, but that was funny. wink.gif

If one considers the political situation of the region regarding the source of a lot of the food for the country, then the original post by xjay is, in a way, quite poignant and clever - or am I getting too deep? mellow.gif

The picture and light hearted comment did not offend me at all.

Regards

Nor me, but I didn't find it clever either, but I suspect its apparent poignancy was accidental! wink.gif
