Any suggestions for where to go when the weather is a bit glum? (Seems to be most weekends now).

(Apologies if this is a duplicate thread).

You could read the forums and pick up people about spelling ? Penelope seems to think thats great fun.

I'm a bit of a stickler when it comes to spellings too, so I think I might be with Penelope on that one.

Really though, is this the best forum to continue to bash Penelope? If you have a problem with her, either raise it privately or ignore her. I've only been a member here for a week or so, but I am already fed up with this personal people bashing. Keep it in the playground where it belongs.

Sure she's offended you, but one of you has to grow up a little and rise above this. It's ruining the darn forum if nothing else!

I read the forum guildines and there did'nt seem to be a rule that said spelling and grammer must be correct? Please could someone point out to me if that is not the case.

Thanks

Depends on the context actually.

For reference, your use of apostrophe in contractions is wrong.
Examples of a contractions; "can't" (cannot), "won't" (will not) and "isn't" (is not).

You use the apostrophe to replace the letter you miss out. "Is not" becomes 'isn't,' you're missing the letter 'o' so you put the apostrophe in place of it making "isn't" (not is'nt)

Don't pick people up on their spellings and make errors in your own posts. Glass houses and all.

And if you use qustion marks, they should immediately follow, no need for a space.

Happily married actually, and a graduate in English Language.

I learned to use the apostrophe correctly in primary school...

Andy- more than happy to hear your opinions, just stop with the comments aimed directly at Penelope. It's not necessary, and really ruins the forums. As I've said previously, take it up with her privately, or just rise above it.
