Tuned in to watch the beach volleyball today and I was very disappointed to see that it was all young girls in very small bikinis....

I was rather hoping it was going to be Iceman, Maverick, Goose et al dripping in baby oil in some homoerotic celebratory event rather than this nonsense....

It takes the saucy Victorian card to another level. NORTHENDER.
Is this the NO 10 Downing Street team?. After all they are just round the bend...so to speak.

I can't imagine Maverick without stilts getting very far.

As we are excited about the present games officially now....I thought I would ramble.

Daughter went to Friday's Dressage at Greenwich. She loved it . but being fair skinned
began to feel uncomfortable.
There was a serious list on a text about what you can't take in.
Including opaque containers such as sun cream. It was the hottest day of the year.

She went off to fill up water containers... you could take in small bottles but top ups were freely available.
I bet the horses and riders needed it too. She found a tent selling gifty things and asked if they had any sunblock stuff.
Sorry no but have some of mine said the person kindly.

She got 2 big squirts and then had to walk back with 2 bottles of water and 2 hand fulls of suncream.
Highlight of her day.I Guess .I didn't dare ask where the water bottles where carried.
She loved seeing Zara and the whole thing.

I too thought I would have a quick gander at this volleyball thing . Quite surprised at the lack of suitable attire worn by the players ,wouldn't stand for that at the Oval don't you know.
LadyTup threw a bucket of water over me for some reason...... blink.gif

Well Lordtup I am sure the bucket of water was meant for the aspidistra.

Back to your problem with computers....
I had a nice mail from daughter who was talking of the developments around St Pancras and Kings X.
She mentioned oxymorons....
I replied how do you know about that when I can barely remember what a semi colon is for?

Simple answer "smilies" when you text. There is always something to learn. Even in dotage.
Back to the fun at Horse Guards.

B****y bad shot then , the over sized geranium is in the conservatory .
That aside glad to hear your daughter can differentiate between a moran and railtrack "spokesperson" ( nb the pc bit ).
I must add in mitigation that the " fun " I allegedly enjoyed at barracks was down to a misunderstanding between my good self ,the horse and a young lady who appeared to have mislaid her cigarette lighter . wink.gif
