Disappearing Breeze Breakfast Show Hosts Options

So does anyone know what happened to the Newbury Breeze Breakfast Show host Tony James? A while back he went on holiday, but then never returned, and no mention was made about his departure. In a manner not dis-similar to when a new actor plays an existing character in a soap, everyone just carried on like nothing had happened. Admittedly his style did have a bit of whiff of Smashy and Nicey about it with the phone-ins to remind him of the blindingly obvious thing he'd "forgotten" etc. Some might even say that co-host Steph was carrying him. Even so surely some sort of farewell was in order. I wouldn't normally ask, but his predecessor was also "disappeared" ....
