Looking through some old leaflets I'd kept for over 10 years I came across one for the charity 'Wings of Freedom' that were involved in the care of birds of prey. Does anyone know what happened to WoF as I cannot find any current reference to them on the web?

Must admit i have not heard of them but if you fire off an email to the Hawk Conservancy Trust at Weyhill I am sure they will have some reference.
Probably, as is the case with most charities, the founder is living it up in the West Indies.

The only reference I could find, although they appear to have been on a slightly different vein to that which you describe.
I imagine they are now defunct??

Thanks for the responses folks. By the way Charlie I found your comment 'Didn't try too hard did you' rather sarcastic.

He probably meant me.
Just ignore him, rudeness seems to abound on this forum which it probably why it is frequented by a certain few!

Sorry you were upset, but it took a rather cursory two minutes search to dig up that info.

Wish I hadn't bothered really. Can someone tell me what the weather's like because I can't be arsed to spend ten seconds typing it into Google.

My ever so smart, (their words not mine), phone keeps telling me there is a yellow warning of wind in Newbury?
What the h**l does that mean?
