Just been reading that there will be no xmas market at victoria park this year do to the damage to the ground,shame really becuase i think the xmas market went down really well with most people and even spread a little xmas spirt.

I think so too, but if the damage is not paid for then it is rather unwelcome from that point of view.

'No Christmas Market', or 'No Christmas Market in Victoria Park'?

Didn't we see/discover elsewhere the Market is to be in Northbrook Street, using the new power outlets (as advertised by the Market company before the details were public)?

So, as this is on WBC territory, who has the responsibility for it and who gets paid. Last year it was on NTC Victoria park and is it the same commercial group running the show.

I think it's great that we're getting a Chrimbo Market, it'll bring some excellent colour to the town, and as it's being organised by the BID I'm pretty confident it'll be a success.

I wonder if the prices might be more realistic this year compared with last when you could buy a chocolate teapot for £12!! laugh.gif
