You refer to Direct Line, I think? Wasn't until I heard the crap about 52 days free insurance that I realised that, perhaps, they weren't giving me the best deal despite having had the car insured with them for over 20 years. Result was that I was finally motivated to phone around and saved over 100 quids on my policy just by making that one call. Rubbish ads sometimes work, but not in the way that those who commision them expect!
