QUOTE (Simon Kirby @ Mar 9 2012, 09:01 PM) By and large we're friendly enough, really we are... Unless you represent any minority party political group.

QUOTE (Andy Capp @ Mar 9 2012, 09:21 PM) Unless you represent any minority party political group. Oh don't be cruel to the Tories, some of them do know the internet exists you know Seriously though, I expect a lot of people are put off posting by the personal nature of the attacks on this forum. If they can ignore the attention seekers though there is plenty of scope for good debate and opinion.

Thanks, Simon. Glad you have all given us your blessing to say whatever we like. Still no doubt some people will complain any time I post, or perhaps when a new member who also is weird joins, but hey. Friendly in what way exactly? Are there services being offered?

Post whatever ***** you like - many, including me occasionally, find it most entertaining!

QUOTE (Jo Pepper @ Mar 16 2012, 09:04 PM) I would love to contribute to this forum, but like so many I just see personal attacks from a few people (mostly Penelope and xjay1337) that destroy the potential of the forum. If only they would stop attention seeking we would all be able to use this forum for fun, debates and exchanging ideas.
No doubt by speaking out I will be ridiculed and like others will be forced to ignore the forum. It's such a shame. Welcome aboad Jo.

No doubt by speaking out I will be ridiculed and like others will be forced to ignore the forum. It's such a shame. I've got to agree with this. Everyone has an opinion many of which are interesting and valid but some posters here seems to think they can ignore the points being made and either make fun of the posters or divert the thread to stop any reasonable ideas. Having been on the wrong end of this several times, I have given up trying to have a reasonable conversation.

Having been on the wrong end of this several times, I have given up trying to have a reasonable conversation. I have been guilty of being a bit feisty in the past, I have never meant anything personally, but I don't like to think that I would have put people off. I agree with the previous statement, some of the posts on here make me want to tear my hair out, but other people like them. The problem is definetly too many of the same people posting. Not that hey should post less, just that we should encore more people to come. Welcom Jo, thanks for joining the thread!

They did nothing about it so I changed my posting style. Like I said before, If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!! (PS Any comments I may have made about xjay were in jest, hence the "smileys". He can handle it anyway!! )
