Off topic I know, but in post 8 I remarked about poor service from Hotpoint.
The problem was my 12 year old dishwasher was found to have a fault which could have lead to fire.
Hotpoint asked me to book an update which I did.
The update was done but the machine never worked correctly since that modification.
I called Hotpoint who sent out an engineer again.
He could not repair it as the parts he needed were obsolete.
Hotpoint then offered to replace the machine with a new one FOC?
After much telephoning and emailing in an attempt to get a replacement by Christmas (which is what I was complaining about) Hotpoint got their ar$e in gear and had the replacement delivered and installed in time for Christmas.
So full marks to Hotpoint in the end. (Well 9 out of 10!
