Rent prices going up in the Kennet centre. Options

I was talking to a manager of one of the stores in the Kennet Centre and he told me that their rent is going up forcing some companies to leave. Sky, which was sold in the main walkway, had to leave because of the rises. Others are also leaving.

Should rent prices rise in a recession, stay the same or go down? Is the Kennet Centre right to put up their rent at this moment in time?

so we have gone from you alluding to at least two retailers leaving the KC to infact none leaving other than a small stall which has been replaced.

Both are correct. I was told that some companies will leave, but only one name was mentioned to me.

I am not alluding to anything; other than repeating what I was told. I thought it would make an interesting debate. Nevertheless; I didn't realise that part of the bargain was to help relieve your boredom. But I am pleased to help.
