What do we say to the parents of the morons who did this? Options

There's little point in saying anything to the perpetrators: they'd just think it was hilarious and run off laughing pushing old ladies into the road and/or vomiting on the pavement as they went. If it was up to me they'd be hunted down, slaughtered and ground down for cat meat but I appreciate some people might think that would be a little over the top.

But the parents? What should we say to the parents? They're out there somewhere in Newbury.

Sorry, but (mainly to Andy) it's not really melodramatic at all. If you read Sherlock's opening post it's quite clear he's referring to children (assuming they are the ones behind the act, it's clear if you read his post) and saying "oh, what about the parents" - because you wouldn't go "oh, what about the parents" if they were 30 would you? I very much doubt he would show his desire to kill them by means of turning into cat food (a feeling I share about Justin Beiber) if they were collecting their pension.

Because that picture just shows a small piece of grass, some houses in the background and what looks like a tree (twig to me) on the floor.

I doubt 12 year olds would be able to do that. When I was 12 I was too busy pretending to be an aeroplane to have time to pump iron or push trees.

I'm just saying there's a divide in how people are treated for committing the same act.. as in generally, the younger they are, the more harshly they are frowned upon, and the older they are, the more they're allowed to get away with it.
I've love to be old in that respect.

No-one else seems to have a problem with what the picture shows. Perhaps not caring, makes one blind.

If I were a betting man, I would bet that this was an act of vandalism by a youth, or someone between 14 ans 21. And as I have said several times already, if it was an adult, they are childish in mind.
