I have received glossy leaflets through my letterbox from both of the above this week, but nothing from the 3 main parties.

Surely they are not being complacent in the current political climate are they?

Well the reason for that is that the 3 main parties are not interested in your view on the EU. They have drank the 'Koolaid' and bought into the program. They want the federalisation of europe to go ahead and to campaign would raise too much awareness of what is at risk. If people don't vote then they get what they want.

If we are concerned at the MP's expenses scandal then have a look at what is happening in the EU Commission. Corruption and fraud are rife. Marta Andreasen, as profiled in todays Newbury Today, tried to clean up their act and was sacked. I bought her book on Monday and have almost finished it. I found it truly frightening that we are walking into a situation where Westminster is reduced to nothing more than a ceremonial and procedural instrument, a glorified parish council, where ALL of our laws will be made in the EU by unelected, corrupt bureaucrats and we will never have the ability to vote them out. http://forum.newburytoday.co.uk/style_emot...default/sad.gif
