Crazy lady just nearly got herself killed by walking out in front of me. I beeped...so she started a rant about having right of way, and reporting ME for careless driving.
Just checked out Highways Code which says pedestrians have priority at a Give Way only when they've already started crossing. This lady was on the pavement, but just stepped out. Crazy -------------------- Newbury's #1 ill-informed internet poster

Sometimes, just sometimes the drivers out there need a kick up their exhaust pipe. Just been out for a sandwich and crossed the road from 20 20 dental surgery to the new Indian (Newbury Lounge?) so looked left up Cheap Street - started to cross the road as nothing coming and some stupid woman turned right coming the opposite direction and very nearly mowed me down. Did not stop just carried on with me screaming after her about not being able to turn right there!!! Is the no right turn sign now obscured by the traffic lights by the bus station/betting office? Mind you also seen a lot of drivers turn right out of Cheap Street too when this is very obviously a no right turn.... Tell you what let's all ignore the traffic signs and just do what we want...

You mean like cyclists do? At least 3 down Bart St the wrong way yesterday and turned right into West Mills from Northbrook ST |
