Is anyone really suprised that Pakistani cricket is corrupt? Corruption is endemic in Pakistani society. Large amounts of cash and relatively poorly paid cricketers with a limited career lifespan are a risk to say the least. If I had paid good money to watch that test I'd want a refund.
Cameron was right to question whether sometimes people in authority in Pakistan look the other way when it comes to terrorism and he got lambasted for it at the time. As for the Cricket. Send the Pakistani team home and have nothing to do with them again until they can prove that they have changed. |
